Following the leak of posters of Mi 5c, more details about the upcoming Xiaomi device have emerged. Moreover, we have two speculated launch dates, and not just one.
The Xiaomi Mi 5c aka Xiaomi Meri smartphone is tipped to feature a 5.5-inch (1080x1920 pixels) full-HD display with 403ppi pixel density. The speaker grille is situated at the bottom, and the Black-coloured Mi 5c is seen running on Xiaomi's MIUI 8 operating system.
The last Mi 5 phone launched by Xiaomi was the Mi 5s along with the Mi 5s plus back in late September. The selfie camera lens is located above the display and the Home button below, which is expected to double as a fingerprint scanner. The body of the Mi 5c will have a metal frame and round edges and the camera will be present at the top left at the back and the Mi Logo will be present at the bottom. The image reveals that the alleged Xiaomi Mi 5c will be powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core processor but the chipset is not known yet. The Mi 5c is expected to introduce with Xiaomi's own Pinecone processor, which is likely to be the company's first processor. It is also likely to use 3GB RAM and may offer up to 64GB internal storage. Recently the Chinese smartphone maker, Xiaomi has launched its new handsets Mi 5S and Mi 5S Plus in China. Unlike its previous Mi 5S and 5S Plus, the Xiaomi Mi 5c is embedded with premium Specifications.
At CNY 1,000, the Mi 5c definitely seems to be a pretty impressive product with an attractive design and decent hardware. Since Xiaomi has not revealed anything official as yet, it is advised to take this information with a grain of salt.
