Teheran, grattacielo crolla in diretta tv: oltre 30 feriti

L'agenzia di stampa della Repubblica Islamica IRNA ha riferito che ci sarebbero almeno 50 morti e circa 70 feriti tra questi soprattutto i pompieri rimasti sotto le macerie. Il crollo è stato mostrato in diretta dalla televisione pubblica, che si era da poco collegata in diretta con un giornalista sul posto.

Un edificio commerciale di 17 piani collocato nel centro cittadino di Teheran, capitale iraniana, è crollato a causa di un grave incendio che si è sviluppato al suo interno giovedì 19 gennaio 2017.

Almeno 38 vigili del fuoco feriti sono stati portati in ospedale dopo il crollo. Molti altri edifici nei dintorni, sono stati fatti evacuare per sicurezza.

Le autorità hanno escluso che si sia trattato di un atto di terrorismo.

Il palazzo Plasco, costruito negli anni Sessanta, era già stato colpito da incendi.
