That, at least, is the most obvious takeaway from Hasbro's latest action figure reveal - a two-pack featuring Spidey and Iron Man, with the latter wearing a largely black-tinted suit.
The following contains a mild, entirely predictable and as-yet officially unconfirmed plot SPOILER for Spider-Man: Homecoming. The Vulture-complete with huge "build-a-figure" wings that require you to buy every other figure in his wave to get all the pieces-is something we've seen before, but now we know he'll now be joined by six-inch versions of Spider-Man with his web-wings attached to his suit, and of the goofy-looking homemade suit Peter made before Tony designed his threads for Civil War. Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine - distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man - but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.
Spider-Man: Homecoming also stars Zendaya, Jon Favreau, Donald Glover and Tyne Daly.
Spider-Man: Homecoming directed by Jon Watts (Cop Car), based on a screenplay by Jonathan Goldstein & John Francis Daley (Vacation reboot) and Jon Watts & Christopher Ford and Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers. The film is produced by Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal, and executive produced by Louis D'Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Patricia Whitcher, Jeremy Latcham, and Stan Lee.
Spider-Man Homecoming lands on July 7 and we know that it is going to be the first Spider-Man movie that is connected to the MCU making it a very big deal for Marvel fans worldwide.
