It's a physics-based platformer in which the player has to slither, curl and climb Noodle the Snake, and his hummingbird friend, Doodle, through an increasingly hard collection of obstacle-filled worlds.
Independent developer Sumo Digital, the studio behind AAA blockbuster Sonic & All-Stars Racing: Transformed and LittleBigPlanet 3, announced that Snake Pass, it's slithery physics platformer, will launch on Playstation 4, XBOX One, Nintendo Switch and PC on March 28th in North America and March 29th across all platforms in Europe.
Snake Pass is a real passion project for the team. Its art style is colorful and vibrant, and it sports a rich and alluring aesthetic thanks to Unreal Engine 4.
There's an updated trailer showcasing the game, along with some firm details on what you can expect from the final release.
For Nintendo Switch owners, Snake Pass will be playable in TV mode, Handheld mode and Tabletop mode.
For Xbox players, Snake Pass will support the Xbox Play Anywhere initiative, where once you buy Snake Pass, you can play it on both XBOX One and Windows 10 PC at no additional cost.
Also, as if you needed any more reason to take interest in this game, it's been confirmed that David Wise of Donkey Kong Country fame will be scoring the Snake Pass's soundtrack. Meet Noodle the Snake and his hyperactive best friend, Doodle the Hummingbird, who together must reunite the missing Keystones with the magical gates that give Haven Tor its mythical power.
