The Nubia N1 Lite is a new mid-range smartphone that was introduced with an LTE phone that can reach gigabit speeds, the Blade V8 Mini, and the Blade V8 Lite. Just ahead of its official launch, the device has been leaked in an image on Chinese microblogging website, Weibo, which reveals the front panel of the device. The front will have a home button that doubles as a fingerprint scanner and has the distinctive red circle that resides on every nubia smartphone.
Another first for nubia would be the dual-camera setup on the Z17 mini which is rumored to be a pair of 13-megapixel Sony IMX258 sensors on the rear end. Another 16 MP front facing camera is assigned for camera duties. Looks like nubia is continuing its focus on the camera with the nubia Z17 mini as well.
As far as the specs go, the nubia Z17 mini is expected to sport a 5.2-inch sized display with 1080 x 1920 Full HD resolution, which would give it a pixel density of 424 pixels per inch. The smartphone will be launched in two variants depending on the RAM and processor as well. Qualcomm's Snapdragon 653 will come running Cortex-A73 cores, although the lithography of the chipset is 28nm. Furthermore, the phone will be available in Silver, Gold, and Black Color options. Interestingly, there are talks of another blue colour variant that will feature 4GB of RAM and Snapdragon 653 processor. In addition to this, the smartphone will come with 64GB of onboard storage. The smaller screen means that both phones will come with a 3,000mAh battery, but the obvious advantage of running Qualcomm's chipsets is that both of them will provide support for Quick Charge 3.0.
The rumor suggests the nubia Z17 mini will be priced at 1899 yuan at launch in China ($275).
