Costrinse l'amante ad abortire, il tribunale ecclesiastico processa un parroco

E' questa l'accusa sulla cui veridicità è chiamato a indagare il tribunale Ecclesiastico Campano.

E' un caso scottante quello finito sulla scrivania del cancelliere arcivescovile padre Luigi Ortaglio che, con i giudici del Tribunale regionale ecclesiastico, si sta occupando delle indagini. "La storia - ha scritto il Mattino - ebbe inizio nel 2012, come riporta il fascicolo al vaglio degli inquirenti: il parroco comincia a intrattenere una relazione con Giovanna, una sua parrocchiana sulla trentina". A quel punto il prete avrebbe interrotto la relazione e costretto la donna ad abortire.

Per diversi mesi si incontrano di nascosto, poi la giovane, all'epoca poco più che trentenne, scopre di aspettare un bambino dal sacerdote. Nessun reato, sia chiaro.

È stato il marito della donna a raccontare la vicenda, prima al vescovo di Vallo della Lucania, poi in Vaticano e infine ai giudici del tribunale regionale ecclesiastico, che lavora al caso da ben cinque anni.

Il parroco, sempre stando alle denunce, sconvolto per la notizia e preoccupato per la sua sorte, avrebbe chiesto alla donna di interrompere la relazione e la gravidanza, cosa che di fatto sarebbe avvenuta.

"Sì, mia moglie rimase incinta - dichiara l'uomo - non sapevo ancora nulla, il parroco voleva farla abortire, cominciò a minacciarla..." Antonio non nega la responsabilità della moglie ma la giustifica parlando di "fragilità, debolezza e tanta insistenza da parte di quel prete". Mi rivolsi al vescovo che, dopo avermi ascoltato, non fece praticamente nulla. O meglio: "si limitò a spostare il sacerdote in un'altra chiesa a pochi chilometri da lì dove, tra l'altro, ricopre tutt'ora il ruolo di vice parroco". "Aspetto che la giustizia divina faccia il suo corso", afferma.
