Tony Award-winning actress Patti LuPone has given her verdict on Madonna's acting ability - and she certainly didn't hold back.
LuPone, who won the Tony Award for her performance in "Evita" in 1980, also recalled her first and only encounter with the Grammy victor.
"I only saw a little bit of it", said LuPone of the recent film version, "but I'm going to be honest: The only person that knows how to do musicals on camera is Rachel Bloom in Crazy Ex-Girlfriend".
With all this Patti LuPone shade cast her way, we have a feeling he's definitely right about Madonna. She's dead behind the eyes, she can not act her way out of a paper bag, and she should not be in film or on stage.
Although the New York-born star doesn't rate Madonna highly as an actress, she has praised her as a "wonderful performer".
During the May 9th, 2017, episode of Watch What Happens Live, Broadway legend Patti LuPone ripped the "Material Girl" singer a new one over her performance in the movie musical adaptation of Evita.
The musical, for which LuPone won a Tony, was adapted into a successful film in 1996.
Patti - who was inducted on the American Theater Hall of Fame in 2006 - explained: "She's dead behind the eyes". She should not be in film or on stage.
LuPone also reveals that the only thing Madonna has "ever" said to her was, "I'm taller than you".
"Patti said: "[LuAnn] She can't act. "She is the only one that understands how to go from dialogue to song so that it makes sense".
In the case of Miller, LuPone noted that the reality star is in the midst of a bankruptcy fraud case and prison sentence, opining, "She should go to jail for life". "I always think of Hillary, and I told her that".
